Frederick Dunn has a background in fine art and has worked in oils since 1984...
Though Frederick currently focuses on portraiture, he has paintings on permanent public display and has been commissioned by unusual clients nation wide. Maritime paintings by Frederick are on display in the Pentagon, the Naval Training Center in Chicago and many private collections.
Fred stretches his own canvas and can work from life or photos that he has taken. Portraits require six weeks minimum. Cotton duck or Belgian Linen are preferred canvas choices. Any size up to 3' by 4', Fred can also custom frame the work to suit your style.

Commission a painting as a gift for someone special, or for your own home gallery.
ALL paintings are gallery wrapped, so framing is completely optional.
Pets, people, birds, landscapes, farms, Seascapes, or ships under sail... you name it!
Commissions begin at $500.00...
Painting commissions are not available for 2016 or 2017... booking for 2018 and later. Photography is taking up far too much space on the schedule.
Frederick has also painted horse portraits for Grand National Champion owners. Ask... he's probably done it!
Frederick works on commission, so unfortunately, we do not have paintings for general sale.

The very instant the shutter closes and the image is stored...

What is captured, is the past.

A    photo    will    never    forget   and   fails   to    judge   or   discriminate   against  the  subject

As you are now, in this moment, you will never be again...
